the guardians' initiative is in progress BWB has recruited 35 young people, about half are females, they underwent the first field training yet they need to be trained more. BWB is still seeking funding to strengthen and raise the capacity of the Guardians yet so far the start is slow. BWB is hoping for new funding or donations to continue the momentum. UNDP/CRDP has supported the initial phase. BWB has set the first trail and tour packages https://thebedouin.org/desert-tours/ so you can visit and learn more.
The training program for desert guides has been submitted to the ministry of tourism to endorsed and accredited.
the Bedouin oasis initiative is under development
Slow funding is slowing the progress as BWB has limited resources and the young guardians are eager and enthusiastic to learn and start implementing.
