Thanks to our supporters, we attained the threshold ($5K+ & 40+ donors) and SEGUE Liberia is now a permanent partner on the GlobalGiving fundraising platform!! Yaaaaaay! We could not have done it without your donations, networking efforts, and words of support. For the 30-day challenge, $5,545 was donated by 45 donors.
William Arthur Ward said, "Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. This describes how the project beneficiaries feel. The beneficiaries of the emPOWER2014 Project don't want us to miss this opportunity to convey their deep gratitude for your generosity during this 30-Day Challenge on GlobalGiving. They are anticipating the first bulk shipment of solar panels expected after additional project funding is attained. Your donations helped them to know that their hopes to have affordable electric power in their homes is that much closer. To that end, we also submitted a grant proposal to get even closer to the needed funding for emPOWER2014.
