Our Potable water supply program to our rural communities is almost a decade old and our index communities and their neighbors continue to enjoy free potable water supply!
The pressure on the project continues to increase as a result of the following challenges:-
(1) A rapid population increase in our index communities and their environs.
(2) A progressive reduction in available funds for recurrent expedicture as a result of progressive inflation in Nigeria.
(3)Progressive cost of sustaining the facility due to inflation and the low value of the National currency the Naira.
(4) The poor power supply from the National Grid.
(5) Aging of some of the components of the facility due to routine wear and tear.
Consequently, the ultimate challenge of our foundation is FUNDS availability!
With adequate funds, we can carry out the needed expansion program, refurbish and modernize the facility and provide a 7.5KVA solar power system to compliment the power supply from the National Grid.
While we thank GlobalGiving and our esteem donors for making this project possible and sustaining it till date, we look forward to your donations to enable us give our communities improved and sustained services.
The estimated amount to achieve this goal is $22,000.00 (Twenty two thousands dollars.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Dako Mamudu.
Chief Executive Officer.
