By Positively Positive | Performance Arts Leader

Hello friends and community,

We appreciate your support for Positively Positive Educaton Productions, LLC.

Please review our progress update since December of 2020

Project Scope

Our production company is creating performance art content and miniature documentaries on youtube and on patreon to further raise awareness about black, LGBTQ+ and HIV positive identities. Next, we are writing and drafting a few books; a book of poems, academic essays, and a survival guide for HIV positive teens. We have solicitated grants and donations from the public and from organizations which included being part of the King Street Station Fellowship Program where we explored and expanded our creative arts programing. Lastly, we are creating a musical album.

Deliverables

This project will improve the lives of people who are multiply marginalized, service providers, teachers, counselors, social workers, ect to educate the public about the black, asexual, aromantic, and queer identities through spoken word poetry and hip-hop music to raise public conscious and awareness on important social justice issues.

Project Background and Description

Positively Positive Education Productions is a black, queer, trans, non-binary, and HIV positive performance artist who provides intersectional awareness of multiply marginalized identities. Specifically, educating the public about asexuality and aromantic identities. Asexuals are people who do not experience sexual attraction nor sexual desire. Aromantics are people who do not experience romantic attraction. Asexuals and aromantics are part of the LGBTQ community. Our production company is one of the only arts programing that was founded by a black founder living with HIV since birth who is asexual, aromantic, queer, trans, and non-binary.
