For the past 20 years, Positively Positive is a performance artist, writer, musician, and photographer who documents HIV and social justice issues and stories around the world through music, photography, and literature.
We are the first person from their family to graduate from college and recently obtained their Life & Health insurance license. We are currently between jobs and are underemployed with start-up costs with starting a business, the rising costs for healthcare, rent, and groceries as someone who is black, queer, trans, HIV positive at birth need access to income and to medication.
More than ever, we need representation from a small business owner and founder of Positively Positive Education Productions and About That Life: Family Insurance to eventually provide tools for newly licensed insurance agents to teach our community to be successful and to provide a safe space for BIPOC, LGBTQ, asexuals, aromantics, people with disabilities, HIV positive and those with an STI access to resources, education, and since of community.
This GlobalGiving campaign needs your support to raise the funds needed to cover the operating costs of running a business to have a safety net for rent, groceries, and healthcare, and to my disabled family members pay their rent.
