Our wonderful volunteers have taken up the challenge of raising £5,000 to deliver the Positive Steps Programme for the young people we support and through their hardword, inpiration (and perspiration!) we are well on the way. So far money has been raised through stalls at School Fetes and Community Days, as well as assisting at the Teens Unite Junior Warrior race and running their own Bake Sale at a local Department Store.
Back at Teens Unite headquarters, our Teens Event Executives have been busy putting the finishing touches to the programme and our Volunteers Relationship Manager is working closely with our volunteers to identify those that can assist in delivering some of the content of the days, all with the aim of helping young people with cancer to return to education or employment after treatment.
Our volunteers have done some really excellent work to get us to close to our target, please donate to help them to fund the project and help the young people we support.
