Uganda Youth Skills Training Organization launches tailoring in Rakai district.This project is for impacting hands on skills to the youth in the area and making of reusable sanitary pads given to agirl achild in poor urban schools in Rakai district.The project is implemented in partnership with Vision Institute in Rakai.
Most of the young people in Rakai are orphans due to HIV/AIDS epidemic that affected area for more than 30years, all the generations in Rakai are still suffering from the foot prints of HIV/AIDS.

We hope that this project will benefit over 50 young people/youth with hands on skills and those that will benefit from receiving reusable sanitary pads will reach over 1000 in schools. those who will benefit indirectly will be over 100.
There will be an increased number of girls to schools,creation of income generating activities and this will address some of the challenges we are addressing at UYSTO, challenges like poverty, unemployment, reduced reproductive disease outbreaks among others.
