Most people to celebrate 2025

By Bob Maahe | Project Leader

On the behalf of the 2025 end of year messages collected from some of the sanitary support project beneficiaries, we bring to you all the donors who have support our project, appreciation messages from the beneficiaries.

Before them young people's appreciation, UYSTO to as the conduit to the project, we appreciate you for the long period of time you have supported our projects, not only donation of pads, but also providing internet, education materials, supporting youth start their own businesses and construction of community vocational training centre. We say thank you GlobalGiving, our wonderful friends and donors of the decade.

The sanitary pads donations have shown that if such support exists, the enrolled numbers of girls in schools keep on hiking tremendously. This has been manifested at Kigobe primary school where we took the project when the total numbers were below 400 and by the year 2024, the number had increased to over 900 pupils.

This is also being manifested from Kasubi church of Uganda, we joined the school at the end of 2024 year, when the number of pupils was 1200+, but the end of 2025, the numbers had increased by 250. This means that the girl child is being catered for and created for a safe space for learning.

That's the reason to why pupils at Kasubi Church of Uganda Primary school appreciate you with these ends of year wonderful messages " You are the most people to celebrate your endless support to us the girls of Uganda" and " Thank you very much for supporting young girls"

It’s an assurance that your support to our cause, is creating a social change in our communities.

Girls request for your continued support this year 2026 and it’s now one week away for them to be back to school. Lack of sanitary pads is not the only challenge to the poor school going urban girl child but many challenges like insufficient learning material, feeding, among other. If there is any way to also to support directly the girl child, reach out to GlobalGiving on how to let us know how we can receive your alternative support.

Be blessed and happy new year
