Greetings from here Uganda, the pearl of Africa. Good news that we were able to host a Global giving representative (Leena Elseed) here at our Organization. Her visitation backed our activities a lot, we were able to reduce on the loads specially on engagement and effectiveness. She was taken to the field and she was able to interact with the beneficiaries direct at their centers. Girl and teachers appreciated the work done by Global giving.

She guided us and showed us how effectively we can engage with Global giving and benefit much out of it. In spite of what is mentioned above, regards the opportunities of hosting the special person from Global giving, we have not been able to donate sanitary pads due to having taken long without hearing from our beloved donors. This rely has been a test before the us as the conduit to the support to your daughters. We have received several call phones from both the school administration and the parents asking what happened to the project and our response is we are still fundraising. And indeed, we are fundraising for the project.

When the situation worsened, we tried to contact Global giving about the situation and told us that our treasury in Global giving was not doing well and that we need to wait until we raise what is required to be sent.

We also noticed that our donors forget about the promotions that global giving put as events to share what they have as a matching funds but when donated to a certain amount of money by the donors. These campaigns are regarded as the best practices by global giving projects to fast collect a lot for their effective continuous project’s implementation. We do not rely know why our donors don't get involved in such campaigns but maybe we have not yet learnt well on promoting the campaigns among them, but if it’s our issue I think together with my team, we shall address it.

Our sincere appreciation goes to you our beloved donors for the continuous support and love you have showed us all this long in spite of hiccups experienced during the project implementation and resources mobilization. We know that the economy is not always friendly but you have been able to be with us.

Your support has a strong impact in our community and we still request you to be with all the time, it has been noticed that among the girls who did well in Primary Leaving Examination in the 2018 year, were those that you have been supporting. This is every strong achievement for your support.

Be blessed all of you our world friends and we miss you all.
