Dear Friends,
Thank you for your commitment and generosity. Your contributions to Kyabakuza have already had an immense impact on the children and families in this small village in Uganda. We are excited to share our progress and appeal for your help to overcome the remaining challenges in bringing hope and opportunity to the community.
Kyabakuza is home to approximately 1,000 children, many of whom face significant hardships. Families in the village rely on small, subsistence-level farming, often struggling to yield enough to meet even their basic needs. Due to the lack of local healthcare, many children have also lost parents, increasing the number of orphans and heightening the need for community support.
Despite these challenges, the care and dedication of the missionary sisters have provided a stable foundation for these children. The first priority is ensuring that the children have access to food, and thanks to our donors, we have made headway in improving daily nutrition for many. However, to address the root of the cycle of poverty, our next goal is crucial: establishing a school.
In the Masaka region, which encompasses approximately 28,000 inhabitants. Without educational opportunities, many children find themselves with limited options, often becoming “street children” as they lack direction and hope for a better future. This lack of opportunity leaves them vulnerable to marginalization and the ongoing challenges of poverty.
Our goal is to raise €8,384, of which €7,614 remains, to build a school in Kyabakuza. This school will be a place of learning, hope, and transformation for the children. With just 8 donors so far, every new supporter can make a significant difference in bringing this vision to life.
With heartful gratitute,
