An anonymous donor to Vets With A Mission has made it possibe that VWAM will no longer need to raise funds for the repair of polio victims houses, the disabled children now adults that VWAM met twenty years ago, in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has made travel to Vietnam not possible in 2020 and questionable in 2021. There are too many unknowns due here in the US due to the coronavirus. Also, continuing COVID-19/Coronavirus issues related to international travel have become a genuine concern. Obviously, the pandemic has impacted charitable giving.
VWAM will not seek additonal funds for this project through GlobalGiving. The project is finished.
Many thanks for your incredible support over the past few years. On behalf of each individual and home assisted, your generosity has been humbling.
Charles Ward, Executive Director - Vets With A Mission
