Respected Donor,
Greetings from CHHASE India!
Because of your unwavering support, we have reached an extraordinary milestone: CHHASE India has planted 2,45,000 trees since 2005. Every single tree is a living testament to your generosity. However, our mission is far from over. As climate change triggers unprecedented floods, cyclones, and extreme weather, expanding our green canopy is no longer just an environmental goal—it is a matter of survival.
Deforestation currently drives 18% to 25% of global climate change. Planting trees is the single most effective weapon we have to reverse this damage and build a safer planet.
Why Every Tree Matters?
When you fund a tree, you are investing in a lifetime of global and local benefits. Over its lifespan, a single tree acts as:
A Carbon Trap: Absorbs approximately one ton of carbon dioxide, actively cooling our atmosphere.
A Natural Flood Barrier: Anchors the soil to prevent erosion and absorbs massive amounts of stormwater runoff.
An Air Purifier: Inhales toxic pollutants and exhales the pure oxygen we need to breathe.
A Wildlife Sanctuary: Provides vital food, shelter, and habitats for endangered birds and mammals.
Changing Lives on the Ground
Beyond saving the planet, our tree-planting initiative directly empowers local communities. By planting fruit-bearing trees on barren and backyard lands, we provide families with:
Sustainable income from harvesting and selling fruit
Natural shade that lowers ambient temperatures
Food security and green, vibrant spaces for children to grow up in
Plant a Legacy for the Future
We are deeply grateful to our monthly recurring donors. Your steady support is the bedrock of our success and the fuel that keeps our shovels moving.
We are not just planting trees; we are planting a future for our children and grandchildren. We would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and suggestions on how we can expand this green revolution together.
With deepest gratitude and best wishes,
Dr.vincent paul.B
