On behalf of the CHHASE board members, staff, and school children, I would like to wish you a Happy Holidays! 2010 has been a tremendous year of growth for CHHASE both in terms of finance and community. I know many of you who are receiving this update had never even heard of CHHASE at the beginning of this year. However, due to your support we have been able to arrange 1200 plants to issue to school children to plant in their homes. Your support has enabled us to: 1. Procure 1200 plants to distribute to school children to plant at their homes. 2. Created awareness to self help group members about climate change. 3. Train school teachers to continue to create awareness to new school children. CHHASE helps the local public have a long term understanding of the importance of preserving the environment and to adopt environmental sustainable practices in their everyday lives.
Despite of all the characteristics, Forests have undergone decline and shrinkage.
To preserve the trees is an obligation for everyone without exception, because the trees are a protector that can filter the sun’s heat while simultaneously producing wind to be breathed in by all people. Without wind and fresh air that can be breathed in everyday, the body is more vulnerable to attacks by disease.
The purpose of our tree cultivation projects is to return our green forests that are now arid as a consequence of private human acts that did not care for the existing environment around us that must protected and loved.
These issue must be countered quickly and positively to care for and save the environment from global warming or lessen sun damage. That is why we must execute worthwhile cultivation of protector trees for the world society, especially in India .
CHHASE in a way that will create to restore global warming by planting trees and protect the planet for our children and our grandchildren is an investment in our future. Show your support for a new tree planting programme -- it only takes five minutes to post a message to your friends.
Kindly make a small donation to plant few trees as your share to protect environment.
Let us save trees and let trees save us from global warming.
The man made crisis needs immediate action.Deforestation created this crisis. How can it be reversed and bring the world into a better tomorrow?
Planting of trees! Yes it is plants. They can only save us. They can only give shade and moisture conservation which can give and make cool. They are the one, who can reduce carbon and give us better tomorrow and restore global warming.
As a initial step, our project has started planting trees ( first 50 trees) in St.joseph’s school near to our project area. We have planted 50 trees and gave awareness to 1400 children of this school. We took oath “Each one, Plant one tree”. This awareness has brought a good response and brought a wider awareness beyond our expectation, which we felt from their questions.
How plants are going to restore global warming?
How many years it can take to solve this critical crisis?
What further steps are to be adopted to restore the global warming?
There are a numerous questions, CHHASE staff, volunteers and the teaching staff answered and understood the effect of 100% success. We are sure that tree planting will continue in children’s home shortly.
Our goal is to help the local public have a long term understanding of the importance of preserving the environment and to adopt environmental sustainable practices in their everyday lives.
Every tree counts and we count every tree.
