The population of Foumban faces malnutrition, poverty and environmental degradation caused by deforestation for agriculture. Seed shortages and lack of irrigated lands leave farmers reliant on fewer crops, like maize and beans, that aren't drought resistant crops. Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) aimed at providing 25000 tree seedlings to 500 households to promote the value of agroforestry and achieve food security and economic resilience for over 250 people in Foumban.
