Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) has been using agroforestry approach to address malnutrition and environmental degradation caused by poverty deforestation for agriculture in Foumban. The land quality is poor and the area suffers prolonged droughts and erratic rainfalls which makes it hard to farm successfully.
Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) provided training to 35 women and men on organic fertilizer and agroforestry techniques, in Foumban from the 19th to the 20th of July 2023. The training focused on soil health, water conservation, importance of organic food and how to produce organic fertilizer and organic pest with the use of aged animal manure, kitchen and farm waste.
IAA budgeted $25,000 for this project and has so far raised $266, through GlobalGiving, which means IAA needs $24734 to go. IAA is grateful to your donation and continues to welcome financial contributions to be able to realize its mission.
Thank you for being our valued donor to promote earth and environmental justice. Together, we fight food insecurity and poverty across Cameroon.
