We provide 33 girls in need of critical support with a Bicycle enabling those girls to engage with an education in a consistent way. The program sourced the required 33 Bicycles and over the last 2 months has completed the delivery of the 33 Bicycles and Bicycle Safety and Security Equipments to provide this important support to these girls from the poorest communities in the South of Cambodia get to school and begin peddling their way out of poverty to an education and a better life!
The Helpcode Project Team worked closely with School Directors, Village Leaders and Community Women’s Groups to identify recipient female students of a Bicycle base don the national Poverty ID scale and in line with community and school representative agreement. These 33 girls were identified from 40 villages in the provinces of Sihanoukville and Kampot.
A very happy beneficiary said:
“I was very happy to get a Bike. Before I had a Bike I couldn’t go to school every day, the walk is long way and takes long time. I have also time now to help my family at home. I share this bike with my younger sister so she can go to school too. The bike works very well. We go to school every day because we have a bike”.
So thank you very much for your precious support.
Please stay with us. Help us to reach the goal of 500 bicycles delivered to 500 happy girls!
