Deaf Students are now photography workshop leaders

In class: what's this button for?

It's been 16 months since the MY STORY photo project first worked with deaf students in Tuy Hoa, Vietnam.  Those students helped us when we returned in February, 2018, to run another photo workshop with 18 more students.  And did they take photos!  Being deaf is no challenge for these photographers; in fact, it seems to sharpen their sense of vision.

At this writing, some of the original photo workshop participants have left the Tuy Hoa school to seek jobs in their communities.  They have been sending us their photos and we have been posting them on the MY STORY photo project website:  msppa.org

The newest batch of photographers, who finished their training this past February, are passing on what they have learned to their colleagues, with the aid of the MY STORY photo manual ( translated into Vietnamese).

Thank you again for supporting this project.  We only wish you could see the pride in the faces of these new photographers when they see their work displayed!
