Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project helping those affected by flooding. The government has just announced the onset of La Nina and this means extreme rains to happen in our villages disrupting farming and causing widespread flooding in the farms. Crops are easily destroyed by floods and this means less income and resources by farmers. The opportunity window is that farmers can easily plant and in this case we provide them with farming inputs such as organic fertilizer, seeds and seedlings. We also closely support them with technical advice on the best way to develop their farms. We were able to support 52 farmers during this reporting period in this way. Hoping that you will continue to support our work. Thank you very much.
