Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food relief to those affected by the El Nino phenomenon. The effect of the El Nino is not so severe now but still there are many households especially those in the remote mountains who are unable to provide for their basic food needs. The children are the most affected and we are focusing on them for support. This reporting period, we seek out dirt-poor families belonging to the Subanen tribe in Zamboanga del Norte. Road condition in the area is difficult and government agencies are sometimes unable to reach to them. With the use of our 4-wheeler truck, we traversed remote mountains in order to bring nutritious food. This time we were able to provide children of 70 families. They were very happy of our support and thankful that we are reaching out to them. We also distributed vegetable seeds to the families for them to grow.
Again thank you very much for your generous support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
