Philippines El Nino Emergency Food Relief

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our emergency food relief initiative for very poor families affected by the severe dry weather. This reporting period we reached-out to families who are living in the mountains and whose access to food is limited. These families are cut-off from markets and are dependent on root crops and small wild birds and animals in the mountains. We were able to provide food packs consisting essential food such as rice, salt, dried fish, milk to 75 families. We wish to support some more and hoping for your continuing help to us so that we can do this.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support in order for us to provide emergency food relief to poor households affected by the severe dry season. This reporting period we were able to provide supplemental feeding to 124 children attending pre-schools and focusing on remote localities mainly in the province of Misamis Oriental. Thanks to local supporters and volunteers who assisted us in this initiative. We found out the importance of supplemental feeding in order to improve health and nutrition of vulnerable children in the short term. Again thank you very much and hoping for your continuing support to this initiative.
