This year, we are pleased to report that we have approximately 60 active groups in the field of sports and inclusion. Our goal is to bring people together so they can engage in sports in safe spaces and feel empowered. We are proud that we have once again succeeded exceptionally well in this endeavor. The participation of people with disabilities, especially children and adolescents, has been very high. At two of our sports festivals, the ratio of participants was about one to ten, which is an excellent indicator of our inclusive work.
Additionally, we successfully organized the inclusive triathlon, the Oranke Open, and a Wheel Soccer tournament that brought Wheel Soccer groups from all over Germany together. These events united both disabled and non-disabled athletes, fostering exchange and community.
It is important to emphasize that not only in the inclusive groups but also in all groups at Pfeffersport do we strive to accommodate people with disabilities whenever possible. This demonstrates our commitment to comprehensive inclusion across all areas of sports.
We look forward to upcoming activities and continuing to promote an inclusive sports culture! Always check our website for information.
Pfeffersport is the largest inclusive sports club in Germany. With more than 5,000 members—almost 70% of whom are youth—we reach an exceptional number of kids and their parents. In our vacation weeks for kids, we reached nearly 2,000 children during winter, Easter, summer, and autumn vacations.
Unfortunately, next year we anticipate significant financial shortfalls.
Therefore, every euro helps us continue our work!
