We are very happy! At this year's German Paralympics Media Award
Pfeffersport won the special prize. For the 23rd time, the DGUV
the Paralympics Media Award to athletes, media professionals and organizations
organizations that report on the world of inclusive sport or their own
story in it. We are proud that our association has been
our club has been recognized for its work in inclusive children's, youth and
grassroots sport. With over 5300 members in almost 50 different
different sports programs, we have been working for over 30 years to create a
world of sport in which everyone is truly welcome.
We implemented many inclusive projects in 2023 and new sports groups were founded, including “Ping Pong Parkinson” for people with Parkinson's disease.
We also won second place in the Berlin Sports Future Prize with our “Active in old age” project. We were honored in the Red City Hall of the state capital for our commitment not only to keeping senior citizens fit through sport, but also to creating spaces in which social interaction is possible.
Many events are planned: We are preparing for the 10th Wheel Soccer Cup in Berlin, organizing a girls' sports festival, a neighbourhood action day and so we celebrate our annual Pankowfestival!
