On St. Nicholas Day, volunteers of the Universal Peace Federation handed over humanitarian aid from school #132 of Kyiv to Chornobayivka to the local lyceum as part of the project "Educators of Holosiyevo to educators of Kherson Oblast".
Even though explosions are still heard, life goes on, but everyone goes back to their work.
"We transferred not just cargo, we transferred the warmth of the hearts of Kyiv children and their families," said the volunteers after seeing the reaction of local residents.
"However, we felt that we received more than we gave. We were struck that despite the cruel circumstances, the hearts of the local people burned with kindness and love more than ours."
By helping others, we help ourselves. We are one family whose members do not lose their identity as human being and helping each other.. Everyone's support is important and everyone's contribution is valuable.
A good deed was done by the team of educators of the Holosiiv district, Kyiv city in cooperation with Universal Peace Federation.
