Earth Day is coming! And so are the rains. We are very relieved to hear that the rains have begun in MASSAI land in Kenya and our partners there are ready to plant. We will be sending more money in the next few weeks to support planting another 200 trees this years with local Massai families.
Given the drought situation in Kenya, we are supremel;y grateful to Mother Nature for sending the rains to help us keep growing fruits for people and special trees for the threatened animals like the giraffes, lions and elephants. The valley where we work Enkutoto Nahala is blessed with the ovber 400 trees we have already planted together and tended for the last 4 years. We continue to replace dead trees in the harsh conditions and encourage our Massai friends to be diligent with tree care to insure they actually grow. This is the difference. Long term follow up with fair pay.
Thank you for all the support you have already given. Every Day is Earth Day and we hope you will celebrate with us and sponsor another tree! And please share our work wioth your friends who might be looking for a way to give back globally in honor of our beautiful home planet. Trees planted near the Equator like in Kenya have a compounded postiive impact on global climate systems and truly are our best bet for making a difference for future generations.
