Report of the Passarim Project
July 2017
In the month of July, the school holidays take place and the activities of the Passarim Project were suspended in two units: in the Gracinha Coexistence Center and CEU Uirapuru, due to the fact that there was a drop in student attendance. In the other two units: House of Culture of Butantã and Center of Coexistence Clarisse, we operate normally and in these two places the frequency remained practically the same as the other months.
The students of the House of Culture of Butantã were honored on July 13, with a presentation by a professional group, Quinteto História da Música, which played for our students. That same day the house was visited by the Municipal Secretary of Culture, Mr. André Sturm, who was delighted with our work.
In the Clarisse Center we had a presentation on 20/7 at the opening of the Collective Supervision of Social Assistance of Butanta. The children of Module 1 in the morning played flute and scale for an adult audience of more than 40 people. It was a success!
Passarim is an art education project for children and young people in social vulnerability, who bet on music as an instrument of transformation. Collaborate with our musical float.
