During the month of March to early April the new groups were formed in CEU Uirapuru and in the Butantã Culture House, with children and young people who are interested in starting to learn a stringed instrument and participate in the program and Passarim the classes. The number of stakeholders was surprising that appeared mainly in CEU Uirapuru, where we started just a year ago the project, where we have two great new classes (one in the morning and afternoon). And the good work with these groups is possible thanks to the hiring of a young violinist as an assistant teacher Thiago. The detail is that this young man, Gabriel, only 18, is the result of a similar design to the Passarim and which ceased to exist a few years ago and what happened in the Butantã Culture House, right where we started the activities in Passarim end of 2014. As we have mentioned in previous reports, the work in the Culture House was intended to recover the group had participated in the previous project (which was unattended), in addition to forming new groups. Thus appeared the Gabriel, who saw in Passarim, beyond the chance to resume activities as a member of an orchestra, a real chance to start their professional career. So we see the possibility of our students in the future, in addition, of course, they have the chance to enrich his personal training with music, also have an alternative job.
In early May the Passarim the boys CEU Uirapuru were called for opening a Citizenship Education event sponsored by the city with the presence of authorities of the respective Secretariat of Culture. After the presentation, strongly acclaimed by all present, it was exciting to hear the mother of a student, Mariana, request the floor to praise the Passarim Project: "I beg leave to say that since my daughter started to participate in activities I have noticed how it has turned into home and school, the Passarim is a blessing for her and for all of us family I hope to continue for a long time and are able to expand its activities to reach more and more children.
Durante o mês de março até o início de abril foram formadas as turmas novas no CEU Uirapuru e na Casa de Cultura do Butantã, com crianças e jovens que se interessaram em começar a aprender um instrumento de cordas e participar do programa e aulas do Passarim. Foi surpreendente o número de interessados que apareceu, principalmente no CEU Uirapuru, local onde começamos há apenas um ano o projeto, local onde estamos com duas turmas novas grandes (uma de manhã e outra de tarde). E o bom trabalho com esses grupos está sendo possível graças à contratação de um jovem violinista como assistente do professor Thiago. O detalhe é que esse jovem, Gabriel, de apenas 18 anos, é fruto de um projeto similar ao do Passarim e que deixou de existir há alguns anos e que acontecia na Casa de Cultura do Butantã, exatamente ali onde iniciamos as atividades do Passarim no final do 2014. Como já mencionamos em relatos anteriores, o trabalho na Casa de Cultura tinha o objetivo de recuperar o grupo que havia participado do projeto anterior (e que ficou sem atendimento), além de formar grupos novos. Assim apareceu o Gabriel, que viu no Passarim, além da chance de retomar as atividades como integrante de uma orquestra, uma real chance de iniciar sua carreira profissional. Assim vislumbramos a possibilidade de nossos alunos futuramente, além, claro, de terem a chance de enriquecer sua formação pessoal com a música, terem também uma alternativa de trabalho.
