Building PARKS Holistic Housing for Women

Within the housing development community, “pre-development” often refers to research, planning, due diligence, and permitting.  All aspects of pre-development are important and for Sisterhood Agenda, pre-development is the key to building a strong foundation for the PARKS Holistic Housing Project.

First, Sisterhood Agenda developed the concept of PARKS Holistic Housing for women and families. We began raising awareness about what holistic housing is and the many benefits that come with helping women and families thrive with green spaces, sustainable building practices, and wellness real estate.  

Now, with pre-development, we are at the phase between the origination of the concept and the initiation of design. Although we have a detailed concept of what these homes will look like, we have to do our research to make sure it’s a good fit. 

Sisterhood Agenda has gathered a great team dedicated to development. During pre-development, we gather more specific local information, explore a multitude of options, and make important decisions about the direction of the project. 

Infusing permaculture in our design, we also let the land speak for itself in the interest of the conservation of local ecosystems:

Sisterhood Agenda plans to conserve 90% of the vacant land targeted for the PARKS Holistic Housing Project.

As most of us know, capital projects like ours to provide needed housing are not cheap or easy.  Pre-development costs include:

10. Market studies
