Mia started classes at Parkour Visions one year ago. She began in our basics classes and has put in a lot of time working on her parkour skills both inside the gym and out. For her birthday, she asked her parents for a parkour setup in her room. And they actually did it! Mia has recently graduated to our advanced level classes, and has logged some great times at the last two obstacle course events at the gym.
When Mia started at PKV, our gym was 6,000 square feet and we had a modest class schedule. Now, we're at 10,000 square feet and keep on having to add classes to keep up with the demand for parkour in Seattle. The big space enables us to run events like our recent Spring Obstacle Course Challenge just last week and to run three classes at the same time to catch up with kids after school.
Your contributions have enabled our growth, and, more importantly, have made it possible for kids like Mia to come to our gym and learn the joy of movement.
We can't thank you enough for your help so far. Every time a new student comes to the gym and goggles at all the obstacles and structures you've helped us purchase and build, we humbly tell them that we couldn't have done it without our great community of donors and volunteers. You helped us build out our amazing space. We hope you'll continue to help us as we grow.
Best,
Eric Jusino
