Report Summury
During this reporting period, As Parkinson's patients support organisations in Ethiopia and the realities on the ground, Physiotherapy is incredibly important for various reasons, like: it plays a crucial role in helping individuals recover from injuries that most patients experience due to chronic conditions of Parkinson's. By focusing on specific exercises and techniques, physiotherapy helps to restore mobility, strength, and function, allowing patients to regain their independence and resume their daily activities.
As usual, the list of activities under this project is being undertaken through project integration approaches, and as a result, the following major achievements were achieved:
Every 15 patients per week who are identified for physiotherapy service attended the session, and so far, the total number of 45 Parkinson patients has been successfully reached. Similarly, more than 67 bedridden PD patients were getting support with the sanitation material in conjunction with their monthly needs.
