Despite the immense challenges facing humanitarian work in the Gaza Strip, and despite ongoing shortages in funding and medical resources, our team remains committed to ensuring that free medications reach the most vulnerable Palestinian patients through the pharmacy of Yafa Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Amid the deteriorating humanitarian and health conditions across Gaza, access to essential medicine has become a daily struggle for thousands of patients, particularly the elderly, individuals suffering from chronic illnesses, and families who have lost their sources of income due to the ongoing crisis. As medical needs continue to rise while available resources decline, pharmaceutical assistance has become a true lifeline for many families.
Thanks to the remaining available resources and the generosity of compassionate donors, we have been able to continue providing essential medications to patients in need. This support has enabled many individuals to continue their treatment and alleviate the suffering caused by illness and the lack of access to healthcare. Our team works diligently to ensure that assistance reaches the most vulnerable patients and those facing the most urgent medical needs.
Although current needs far exceed the resources available, we remain determined to sustain this vital program and prevent interruptions in service. We firmly believe that access to medicine is not a luxury but a fundamental humanitarian necessity that can save lives and reduce suffering.
Unfortunately, the continuation of this project is increasingly threatened by funding shortages, making donor support more critical than ever. Every contribution helps us purchase additional medications and reach more patients who desperately need treatment but cannot afford it.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported this humanitarian initiative. Because of your generosity, hundreds of patients have been able to access essential medicines and continue their treatment journeys. Together, we can continue providing hope, relief, and life-saving care to those who need it most in Gaza.
