In Pakistan, over 650 lives have been lost and thousands injured. Homes, bridges, and roads are destroyed, leaving families stranded without food or shelter. In Bangladesh, recent floods have impacted over 5 million people, with 500,000 displaced and homes, crops, and livelihoods destroyed.
Flash floods and cloudbursts in Pakistan have claimed over 650 lives, left nearly 1,000 injured. A devastating cloudburst in Buner dropped over 150 mm of rain in just one hour, which washed away entire villages and destroyed homes, schools, and roads. Families were stranded without warning, leaving them hungry, homeless, and hopeless. Rescue operations are ongoing amid relentless monsoon rains.
