Over Climate change & Drinking water situation about 85% in rural Pakistan facing disasters over alarming of climate effects
During visit of rural areas of Sakro, the team saw good source of drinking water via canal water if they get Nadi filter as the canal water is sweet and fit for drinking purposes but due to unawareness people in difficult situation now and majority of villagers damaged via hand pump usage, during the visit AHD team visited 16 villages and all villagers has same issue of drinking contaminated water and facing health issues
Team discussed this with educated people and some NGOs they reported same and they all in difficult situations and forced to drink the bottle water or market based bottle water which is also not good for drinking purposes.
