AHD pleased to share that Safe Drinking Nadi filter innovation reaching on its land mark and about 50,000 families will be benefited through AHD Nadi filter promotion, we are remain thankful  for GlobalGiving team for supporting this cause,  we also looking your all suggestions and inputs to further promote Nadi filter technology outside Pakistan, if any one from our donors interested to spread this Nadi filter we welcome and AHD will be willing to replicate this Nadi filter technology in other countries.

AHD Initiative for Rural Communities of Pakistan

The rural areas of Pakistan communities was drinking contaminated canal water for drinking purposes then AHD focused on this issue and introduced their innovation named as Nadi filter Unit. Presently, it is contributing their part in access of safe drinking water. This community based solution model helped the indigenous people in terms filtering the water from 98% to 100% and removes biological contamination. Since 2003 to 2018 AHD installed more than 50,000 Nadi filter units and thousands of families in rural areas get benefited by it. This sustainable and remarkable innovation of AHD is changing the lives of vulnerable communities. AHD trained the community activist to make the Nadi filter unit at household level and they are delivering the same message to other community members.
