Dearest valued supporter!
We are now into the dry season again and the second semester of school for the children. Although it can rain at any time, June/July and December to February are the best times to build and do any sort of constructing on the land.
However, things right now on the land are at a standstill. Auntie Grace is using some of the land for farming, but the funds have not come in to build at this time. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will have more success to be able to build for the December period of dry weather!!
As a valued supporter, please help us to make this happen! Reach out to your family and friends and share our cause. Or consider making another gift yourself! We need your help!
The children are all still with Grace in the rented space, but they look forward to having a place to call home. Digging and spending time in the fields is such a huge part of northern Ugandan culture. Having to rely on others for their food is not a comfortable feeling for any of the children. Especially when they have all gone through periods of not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Together we can build the children a place to call home. Help us to raise the funds to build a shelter on the land to house the children and to be able to reach out to the child headed homes in the community! We value your continued support!
Warmly,
Lena and the WOC team
