"When we first heard about the Fundación Lifting Hands project, we were hopeful but skeptical. The idea of having a new community home seemed almost too good to be true. But as the project began, we could see the dedication and hard work of the Fundación Lifting Hands team. They didn’t just come in and build; they worked with us, listened to our needs, and made sure that the project would truly be a home for us.
For the first time in years, we felt secure. The program is not only a shelter but a space where we can thrive. Our children now have a safe place to play, and we have the comfort and stability that every family deserves.
But we know we need a new community house that is not rented and that is bigger because the one we have right now is too small. We encourage all donors to give towards this campaign.
Beyond the physical structure, what really touched us was the support and care from the Fundación Lifting Hands team. They showed us that they genuinely cared about our well-being and future.
Our lives have changed in ways we never imagined. We now feel more connected to our community, and we’ve seen improvements in our overall quality of life. This new beginning has also inspired us to give back and support others in need, just as Fundación Lifting Hands and GlobalGiving supported us.
