About the project:
The course seeks to provide the learner with basic knowledge of fretted string instruments, which are: violin, viola and cello. In addition, the active method is used, which seeks to establish the first contact between student and instrument, starting the musical learning process.
Goal:
In recent months, the students participating in the project have dedicated themselves to rehearsals to perform in the show called “Alpha in Concert”. The Alpha Lumen Institute held this benefit show in support of high skills education. An unforgettable night, with a performance by Orquestra Órion, where all the money raised went to the Alpha Lumen Institute's Talent Support Fund, helping to maintain and expand initiatives that transform the lives of young Brazilians.

Continuity of collective class activities:
Group Classes: The activities were organized in groups of 6 to 15 participants, divided between beginner and intermediate levels. This structure allowed for a more personalized approach, adjusted to the specific needs and abilities of each group, promoting improved use of classes.
First Part of the Class: Technical Fundamentals
At this stage, students practiced essential exercises for musical technical development, such as scales, open strings and bow strokes. These activities are fundamental to improving motor coordination, precision and mastery of the instrument.
Second Part of the Class: Advanced Techniques
After the initial stage, students began to study specific techniques according to the group's level. This part of the class focused on technical in-depth, aiming to improve sound quality and musical interpretation.
Third Part of the Class: Musical Repertoire
In the final stage, the students dedicated themselves to the repertoire. This phase was focused on the practice of varied musical pieces, where they could apply the techniques worked on in the previous phases, developing their musicality, artistic expression and interpretation of different styles.
