Since the beginning of 2025, we have successfully distributed over 500 newly printed oral health storybooks to children at Ifeoluwa Academy in Ado-Ekiti. The children not only received the books with joy, but they also actively engaged with the content, reading aloud in class, drawing illustrations, and sharing what they learned with their families.
The feedback from teachers and parents has been overwhelmingly positive. Many reported that the children were more curious and conscious about their oral hygiene practices after reading the storybooks. This aligns with our core goal: to use storytelling as a tool to spark early awareness and behavior change in communities where oral health education is limited.
As we move into the second half of the year, we are working towards scaling distribution across more schools and rural communities. Plans are underway to print and distribute an additional 5,000 copies, alongside community reading sessions, monitoring visits, and teacher engagement workshops.
We are deeply grateful for the support that makes this work possible and remain committed to reaching even more children before the year ends.
Thank you for believing in the power of stories to create healthy futures.
