It has been a slow but steady recovery from the COVID pandemic. However thanks to our donors and support from the Atlantic Fellows For Health Equity we have been able to distribute 2500 oral health story books to children in rural Nigeria and Kenya since this book was first published. While we await the disbursement of funds from our donors, we want you to know we are in the process of printing 2000 books to be distributed in June 2022. Our goal is to distribute 10,000 books in the year 2022.
Meanwhile, we have been given a good report on the use of past books that were donated and we look forward to even hearing more. We are also happy to let you know that we are working on an Hijabi Version of the book to make it culturally and religiously relevant to some of the rural communities we serve.
Your great contribution gave us the boost to gift children these books and they are really pleased to receive the books and books is making the difference in their oral health.
