A breakthrough!
On Saturday 25 May, Jakobien, guided by her autism dog Pepper, not only attended Canisha's very first open doors but she made dog biscuits, brain work blankies for dogs ànd help sell them to the greater public.
Imagine: just shy of a year ago, this girl did not even dream of leaving the house. Let alone attend an event with dozens of strangers asking her questions ànd actively trying to sell what she made for the benefit of Canisha who gave her her very best buddy in the world, her bubble of safety to whom she can always turn in a moment of panic, anxiety or stress, absolutely for free.
You, our kind sponsors, helped open the door to society to this almost sixteen year old girl and we cannot thank you enough!
