This last season brought many changes to our Grace House program, and we are looking forward to more changes to come in 2022. The Covid 19 season continually highlighted our challenges as much as it did our strengths.
In this past fall, all of our girls transitioned home to their families, and immediately, we saw this as an opportunity to move forward with newer and long-awaited desires to improve and strengthen the overall program. Among those desires is to work more closely with the families, better equiping and strengthening them as each girl returns home.
Our goal is to shorten the residential aspect of the program while substantially increasing work with the families and ongoing follow-up with both the family and their daughter through community-based care. We have begun the process of redesigning the overall program while keeping all our core values and curriculums intact.
In addition to this, while our initial Grace House property served as a great launching place for the residential program, we are looking forward to a better home and location as we implement the revised program this year. While redesigning the residential program and viewing potential properties, our care staff are also working directly in the community with families and their children, teaching literacy classes, tutoring, and supporting the entrepreneurship program.
We are moving into this year with great hope and expectation for these communities and for a stronger Grace House program for those we look forward to serving. We hope that you have the same great hope and expectation for your year ahead. Thank you so much for your partnership!
