By Mariama Diallo | Director of Finance and Resources
Just to reiterate our goal, GAED’s mission with our One City, One Learning Resources Center project is to build learning resources centers (LRCs) in all of Guinea’s 8 administrative regions. Our first learning center, located in Conakry, is undergoing final renovations. There was a brief halt in renovations because the staff involved in the construction of the LRC also played a big role in the Conakry Capitale Mondiale du Livre (CCML) 2017 campaign in Guinea and had to assume their administrative duties in hosting the country-wide event. They will resume the LRC renovations by the end of this month. We anticipate the completion of this center by August 2017.
We cannot thank you enough for your support. Please continue to track our progress throughout this journey.
Sincerely,
Mariama Diallo
GAED Director of Finance and Resources
