GAED is excited to be partnering with Guinea Culture, Conakry Capitale Mondiale du Livre (GNC-CCML) on our Learning Resources Center (LRC) Project. Currently, we are in the beginning stages, which entails spreading awareness and informing people about our project. Our primary means of promotion have been through social media, as well as informing people at various events, particularly in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. The most recent event we have attended to promote our LRC Project is the Miss Guinea North America Pageant on September 4th, 2016, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Members of our organization have created T-shirts in support of the project, in which we sold at the event at our information table. Also at the information table, we have informed attendees about GAED and GNC-CML’s mission and objectives for the LRC project. GAED has also launched a T-shirt campaign via social media, in which we will continue to sell the project shirts. We are asking people who made purchases to take photos with their shirt and tag GAED’s Facebook and Instagram page. This will spread the word significantly amongst others. All proceeds will be going towards funding the LRC Project.
We still have a long way to reaching our goal of $50,000, but with your efforts, we can make it happen!
Thank you again for your interest and continued support.
Sincerely,
Mamadou A. Barry
President
