A few highlights from this quarter:

Adapting to Market Headwinds: In response to the market changes in Kenya and Tanzania, we are restructuring our core program in both countries to anchor service delivery to our rural retail shops. Although accompanied by difficult reductions in our workforce, this lower-cost delivery model is better suited to shifts in farmer demand in both markets, ensuring the long-term impact and financial health of our operations.

Digital Innovations: After 15 months of testing we officially launched the Tupande Online app throughout our Kenya duka network. The app enables farmers to easily buy inputs and receive home deliveries using their phones and now includes mobile money integration for seamless payments via MPESA. Our future plans include adding a market access module and digital advisory services by late 2024, utilizing Kenya's growing smartphone penetration to empower smallholders with valuable tools.
