One Million Trees for Peace Project in Nigeria- Africa.
Until you dig a hole, plantatree, water it and make it survive, you seem to have done nothing. For he that plant a treelove others and is working to create a World of Peace. When we plant trees, we plant the seed of peace and the seed of hope for a better world. Partner and support this project, we will love to plant a tree and raised a forest of trees for you.
Someone is seating in the shade of a tree today, because someone supported the planting of a tree long time ago. Thanks to all who have been supporting this project thus far… Without your support, we cannot do what we are doing today in Africa. We are working very hard to bring back the forest we inherited and today the picture below attest to this-showing an area in 2010 and the present state in 2019. We love you to further partner with us as we work to make this earth a peaceful home for the now and unborn generation as we target to plant One Million Trees.
If you cut a tree, you kill a life, if you save a tree, you save a life and if you plant a tree, you plant a life. Dr Festus Onogholo, the Project manager and his team successfully flag off this year tree planting. Over 15,000 indigenous and exotic forest species were planted. This was not really an easy task as you have to prepare the soil before planting. Some of the forest seedling purchased have not been paid for . We kindly ask for your support to enable us make payment and also maintained the planted trees. Without your generous donation these trees and over 270,000 forest trees planted in past years cannot be maintained- if you save a tree, you save a life.
We are not only planting trees but also improving the life of people in the rural areas. Currently we have about 45 families who work directly and get their pay from our project. From what they earn, they invest in their private farms and send their children to school. Our Agro forestry project, provide more food for their families and relations. We also have a free malaria Treatment program for their children and good welfare package for the workers. These are great relief for our workers and their families. Without your support we can’t sustain this. One of the best ways to stop illegal migration from Africa to Europe is supporting a project like this, that have direct impact on the rural people.
Trees represent beautiful and resilient life. Trees symbolize an exquisite nature at its best. We have started with the planting of over 270,000 forest Trees and still committed to planting/ raising of One Million forest trees. One of the best gifts we can give future generation is trees, so that our world will become more peaceful.
If trees gives off Wi-Fi signals we would be planting so many trees and probably save our world too, but the beautiful thing they only produce Oxygen we breathe .
