With your generous support, we are thrilled to announce that we achieved our fundraising goal! In all, 73 donors contributed to our campaign for a total of $5,060 in 30 days!
Your donation will help to train fishermen divers in Mexico to diagnose, prevent and treat potentially life-threatening dive injuries. The skills and tools they will receive in this course will help them save lives and strengthen their communities.
Olazul's Lead Field Technician José Gomez, known locally as "Zorro", is looking forward to teaching the two-month course. He says, "Fishermen divers need to be more efficient, professional and risk-conscious. That's why Olazul's Dive Safety course is a great opportunity for them."
From all of us at Team Olazul and the fishing communities who will benefit from this project, THANK YOU! We look forward to keeping you informed of our progress on this important effort.
