Ofarim School December 2022 Project Report

Hello
The new school year has begun at Ofarim School.
We started the year with 5 first graders, and we are excited to welcome the young pupils to the school.
The pupils came from different kindergartens and joined the different classes.
We see their developmental process at school and how little children slowly but surely become confident pupils and more independent children.
The 1st grade team had a special training to welcome the students and integrate them into the school.  They prepared whiteboards in the classrooms, educational materials, and games that would be especially suitable for first grade kids and would contribute to their development at school.
Along with learning, pupils also get to experience different spaces.  They go out to get to know the environment, playgrounds, zoos, and the sea.  The students really enjoy and learn during the trips and discover new things.
This year our school has grown and many new pupils have joined us.  Even during the school year, Ofarim School continues to accept new students and integrate them into different classes.
The management team sees each student individually and tries to fit him with the environment that best suits him cognitively and communicatively.
At the Ofarim school, students are from wide range of the authism spectrum. The school put a lot of emphasise on the communication development of the kids.  It allows the classes to collaborate with the other classes, to do peer learning, and to teach the students to communicate and initiate communication.

We are happy that with the help of our knowledge and experience, we manage to receive and accommodate our students and wrap them in love.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
