Coastal Camp is coming up!
Spring is upon us and after our very successful Activity Days during February Half Term and the Easter holiday the 2018 Coastal Camp is the next camp in our young people’s Youth Adventure journey.
In May Half Term we will take two streams of 40 young people to a new venue, the Purbeck Valley in Dorset, for a long weekend of water-based activities and we are really pleased that attendance for the camps looks high.
The water and land-based activities of camp are designed to develop the young people’s own personal skills such as confidence and resilience but also to encourage them to work together. In addition to lots of games and team building, they will have the opportunity to get involved in classic activities such as kayaking and sailing but this year we also hope to offer a yacht and powerboat experience. The young people will be supported by our amazing team of staff and volunteers who will ensure their experiences are not only enjoyable and memorable but also impactful. As always, we will be encouraging each young person to evaluate their experiences and their own personal development.

Thank you for your help in making Coastal Camp possible and helping us to make a valuable difference to the lives of vulnerable young people.
