A supportive learning environment extends beyond classrooms, textbooks, and teachers. It also includes attention to the basic needs that help children participate comfortably in their education. For girls in vulnerable rural communities, access to nutritious food is an important part of that support.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) is continuing to mobilize donor assistance for its Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda initiative. The project seeks to help girls access meals during the school day, particularly when their families face financial difficulties.
Providing nutritious food can support children's wellbeing and help create better conditions for learning. However, maintaining school feeding activities requires resources, planning, and the continued commitment of supporters.
GIFU appeals to compassionate donors and partners to help sustain this initiative. Your contribution can support food purchases and help ensure that vulnerable girls receive assistance.
