Parents and caregivers want their daughters to learn, grow, and build better futures. Unfortunately, financial hardship can make it difficult for some rural families in Uganda to provide all the necessities their children need to thrive.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda (GIFU) is seeking donor support for nutritious school meals to help address one important challenge facing vulnerable schoolgirls. By mobilizing resources for meals at school, GIFU aims to support girls' nutritional needs while helping families manage some of the pressures associated with providing daily food.
School feeding cannot resolve every challenge facing struggling households, but it can make a meaningful contribution to girls' wellbeing and educational experience.
We invite donors, organizations, and partners to stand alongside families working hard to support their daughters. Your contribution can help provide essential food supplies and sustain this important initiative.
When we support a girl's basic needs, we help strengthen the opportunities available to her. Together, we can help rural families invest in their daughters' futures and enable GIFU to feed future leaders of tomorrow.
