We are honored to share another update on the impact of the Nutritious School Meals for Girls in Rural Uganda Project. Thanks to your generous support, vulnerable girls are continuing their journey from hunger to hope, gaining access to the nutrition and education they need to build brighter futures.
During this reporting period, nutritious meals were provided consistently to girls attending partner schools. Teachers reported noticeable improvements in attendance, attentiveness, and participation during lessons. Students were more engaged in classroom discussions, completed assignments with greater consistency, and demonstrated increased enthusiasm for learning.
For many beneficiaries, school meals remain a vital source of daily nourishment. Families facing financial challenges continue to benefit from the support provided through the project, as it helps reduce household pressures and enables parents to prioritize their daughters’ education. Parents have expressed appreciation for the positive changes they have observed, including improved confidence, stronger academic commitment, and increased school attendance.
The project team continued to work closely with school administrators and community leaders to ensure accountability, effective implementation, and ongoing monitoring. Their dedication has helped maintain the quality and sustainability of the program.
Every nutritious meal served represents more than food—it represents opportunity, dignity, and hope. Thank you for helping girls overcome barriers that stand between them and their education. Your generosity is empowering young learners to pursue their dreams, develop their potential, and create lasting change within their families and communities.
Together, we are transforming lives one school meal at a time.
