BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES THROUGH NUTRITION

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

On behalf of the girls, families, and schools we serve, thank you for your continued support of the Nutritious School Meals Project.

During this reporting period, nutritious meals were provided to girls attending school in underserved rural communities. The program continues to play a critical role in improving attendance, concentration, and educational participation.

School staff report that students receiving meals are more attentive in class and demonstrate greater enthusiasm for learning. Access to regular nutrition has helped reduce the negative effects of hunger on academic performance.

The project also strengthens family and community support for education. Parents appreciate knowing that their daughters have access to healthy meals while at school, encouraging consistent attendance and reducing dropout risks.

Our implementation team continues to prioritize accountability through regular monitoring and collaboration with local stakeholders. These partnerships help ensure effective use of resources and maximize project impact.

As we move forward, we remain committed to expanding access to school meals and supporting more girls facing barriers to education. Every meal served represents an investment in a child's future and a step toward stronger communities.

Thank you for standing with us in our mission to improve educational outcomes through nutrition. Together, we are helping girls achieve their potential and create lasting change in rural Uganda.
